Happy Birthday Mo!!!

When my BFF's Bday was approaching, I thought "Hmmmmm, what type of card am I going to make for her?" I wanted to keep it simple..Nothing over the top.. She loves anchors and Rockabilly... So, I knew I would be using the Cute stamp from The Greeting farm called Cheeky Rockabilly.. She is super cute and looks like a Rockabilly Pin Up Girl! I stamped her on Kraft paper and colored her with Copics... I cut the anchor Die cut out using my Silhouette Cameo.. the image is in the Silhouette online store.. the Striped background is just black and white wide washi tape from Freckled Fawn.. The Happy Birthday Stickers are Recollections from Michaels.. I really love how this came together and came out!! I will be entering this card for this week's FFF challenge over on TGF blog..Thanks so MUCH for stopping by... lots of love...BM

Hey Batter, Batter!!!!

Hey Batter, Batter!!! If you are/were a baseball/softball player I am sure you remeber mumbling these words at some point! I know I did!! This card was made for my Nephew, Jayden, who is turning 4. I just LOVE The Greeting Farm stamps and have yet to use this cutie (Batter Ian) so when I started thinking on what type of card I was going to make for my nephew this year, this one quickly came to mind. I wanted to try a new technique , paper piercing, which I have never tried before. Although I have seen it done on several cards on various posts,I have never attempted it. I must say it was fairly simple and I do like the results! I stamped Batter Ian on kraft cardstock and colored him with copics. The Ovals were cut out using Spellbinder Nesties Classic Ovals. I tend to notice when I make Male cards, I like to go the simpler route.Thank you so much for stopping by naking a look at me card! Have a Wonderful Day!!!

Thank You's using TGF Flirty Anya!

Here are some Thank-You's that I made for my Mom and Mother In Law for the wonderful Birthday gifts that they sent to me! Thank you! I started out with TGF Flirty Anya and colored her with copics in the C range. I wanted to add a splash of color, so I thought coloring the flower in her hair in the shades that I wanted would make it pop.. I cut the image out using the Beaded Oval ( THANKS CINDY!) Nestie die from Spellbinders. Added some ribbon and prima's and WhoooLa! Loved who these turned out. Simple, but cute! The Pink/zebra theme is for my Mom And the Green/polkadot theme is for my Mother in Law.
